John Totty, CEO

Mr. John Totty currently serves as Alpha-1’s CEO while maintaining his status as a fixed/rotary-wing Adversary Pilot and FAA Industry Check Airman.

Upon retirement from the Air Force in 2008, Mr. Totty served in several industry leadership positions before founding Alpha-1 in October 2017.

Aircraft qualifications include the TH-55A, UH-1H, OH-58A/C, AH-64A, TH-53A, MH-53J/M, Mi-8/17, Mi-24D, MD-500C/D, MD-530F, Bell 407, An-2 Colt, PC-12NG Spectre, C-208, L-29C/R Delfin, L-39 Albatross, AT-802U Air Tractor, Rutan Long EZ and AT-802 Sky Raider II.

Served 21 years on active duty, with numerous flying assignments in both the US Army (1987-1998) and US Air Force (1998-2008).
